The report was made to police at noon local time Saturday. Authorities thereafter interviewed Sapp.
The woman claims that Sapp choked her and pushed her down to a couch; she has a swollen knee and bruises on her neck. Sapp reportedly told police that she fell while he was helping her off a couch.
Some of you have asked why NFL Network would decide to keep Sapp off the air while at the same time permitting Michael Irvin to continue to appear on the network. The answer is simple; Irvin is facing no criminal charges at this time. |

Here's what should happen to Warren Sappy:
Make him stand in a police lineup and turn right. Tell everybody else they can leave. Then, have a 6'5", 325 NFL lineman get a running start and crash into the motherfucker's lower back from behind, lifting him off his feet and onto the concrete. Then, turn and laugh at him and say. "Hey, Warren, it's all part of the game."
Show him some Shawshank/Pulp Fiction love, too---on behalf of the woman he slapped around.  |
